We do not collect, store, or process any personal data. No account is required to use WhatsBuilding. The "Notify me" interest form on search results pages links to a third-party Google Form — any data you enter there is subject to Google's privacy policy, not ours.

Planning application data is sourced from local council planning portals. This data is public information published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We do not store personal information about applicants beyond what is already publicly available.
